Emergency Response Experience

What happens when I press my button?

When a button is pressed the unit will announce “Emergency” while the unit is dialing the response center. The unit will then say “Emergency Reported” and a live operator will come over the two-way speaker to offer assistance.

What happens if I press my button and I am unable to communicate?

If you are unable to communicate with the response team, the operator will attempt to contact you on the phone number registered to your account. If there is no answer on that phone, emergency help will be dispatched to the location listed on your account.

How do I cancel a false alarm?

Wait until an operator comes on the line and let them know everything is okay.

What if I hear static over the two-way?

If you have DSL service, please make sure there is a DSL filter in your phone jack. Refer to your User Manual for more information.

Do you cover the cost associated with dispatching?

No. Emergency services are provided by your local EMS and costs are determined by them.
