How do I setup my system with my landline?

  1. Unplug cord from the back of your answering machine and plug it into the jack marked WALL JACK on the back of the base unit
  2. Using telephone cord provided in box, connect your answering machine to the base unit’s PHONE port
  3. Plug the base unit into an outlet not powered by a light switch
  4. On the bottom of your base unit, slide On/Off Switch into ON position

How do I activate my replacement or additional neck, wrist or wall button?

  • Press and hold the CLEAR button on the right side of your base unit until you hear the unit say “Ready to learn sensor.”
  • Release the clear button.
  • Then press your new wrist, neck or wall button until you hear the unit say “Emergency sensor learned”, the button is now learned to the system.

What happens when I press my button?

When a button is pressed the unit will announce “Emergency” while the unit is dialing the response center. The unit will then say “Emergency Reported” and a live operator will come over the two-way speaker to offer assistance.

How do I test my unit?

Simply call our auto testing line at 1-800-332-8570 and follow the prompts.

What do the status lights mean?

Status Light Chart

Light Status What it means What to do
GREEN light blinking fast Unit is running on backup battery Check power source to make sure it’s plugged into a wall outlet not controlled by a light switch
GREEN light blinking slowly Back up battery is recharging Nothing. Let your unit battery recharge.  This could take up to 2 days to fully charge and light to turn steady
