What happens when I press my button?

When a button is pressed the unit will announce “Calling For Help.” The unit will then say “Call Connected” and an operator will come over the two-way speaker to offer assistance.

How do I activate my replacement or additional neck, wrist or wall button?

  • Press and release the T/L (Test/Learn) button on the back of your unit.
  • Press and release the HELP button on the front of your base unit three times.
  • Press your new replacement button and your unit will beep.
  • Press your RESET button on the back of your base unit.

How do I test my unit?

What do the status lights mean?



The STATUS light will display the following light signals when in NORMAL OPERATING mode:

Behavior

Description

Steady Green

Normal operation.

Steady Red

The medical alarm unit has been activated by an alarm signal and is calling the response center.

Blinking Green

The unit is not receiving power from the electrical outlet and is running on the backup battery.

    • Make sure your unit is securely plugged in.
    • Make sure your outlet has electrical power (and is not controlled by a light switch that is in the off position).

Blinking Red

Insufficient cell service. Please move unit to another location.

Blinking Orange

The unit is not receiving power from the electrical outlet and there is insufficient cell service.
